                                                              Review of School of Rock The play I watched is called the School of Rock written by Mike White. This is a musical about a failed rock star that is kicked out of her band and is now a substitute teacher at a prep school. She discovers that the students have a great musical talent. She forms them into a band to compete in the battle of the bands. I think the theme of this play is follow your dreams. Duey always wanted to be a rock star and failed and he was able to help his students in their talent show which kinda gave her a taste of her dreams.          I think the costume that Duey was wearing in the first scene well showed what type of person she is. . Mama comes in the house and announces that they won’t be moving . Walter calls the guy and tells him they will take the deal and he comes to the house . When he gets there mama makes Walter deal with him . Walter changes his mind and says that they will move in . The scene ends with mama looking at the empty house
